Hindu Samaj Community Center in Mahwah presents Spring Dance Spectacular
The Hindu Samaj Temple and Community Center in Mahwah, New Jersey is sponsoring a Spring Dance Spectacular, celebrating the area’s cultural diversity and featuring award-winning dance troupes from all over the region.
The dance celebration, benefiting the Mahwah Marine Moms-North Jersey Military Moms, is set for Sunday, April 1, at 3:00 pm at the Hindu Samaj Community Center, 247 West Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah. Admission is free. Free-will donations will be appreciated.

Annual Spring Fever Wine & Food Tasting
It will be day of “foolish pleasure” on Sunday, April 1, 2012, from noon to 5:00 pm when the second annual Spring Fever Wine & Food Tasting event is held by the Garden State Wine Growers Association (GSWGA) at Branches in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
This year, New Jersey’s first wine tasting event of the season will offer a sampling of more than 250 award winning New Jersey wines from 23 wineries and gourmet foods in an award-winning setting noted regionally for its elegance and attention to detail.

Run With Rotary in Montgomery, NJ
The Rotary Club of Montgomery Rocky Hill will hold the "Run With Rotary" 5K Road Race/Walk and 1 mile Ramble/Fun Walk on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Montgomery Middle School, 375 Burnt Hill Road, Skillman, NJ (Montgomery Township).
The ramble/walk will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the 5K Road Race/walk at 10:35 am.
Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Montgomery Rocky Hill Foundation, a 501(c)(3) a not for profit organization that is involved in local, national, and international charitable activities such as providing support for the Montgomery Township Food Pantry and programs spearheaded by Rotary International for the eradication of polio and provision of relief to victims of natural disasters through the ShelterBox Program.

Lambertville, NJ Shad Festival
The Lambertville Shad Festival will be held from April 28 April 29, 2012.
This wonderful Hunterdon County tradition, featuring many of the area's best artists and crafters, food, music and family entertainment, will be held at Union and Bridge Streets in Lambertville, New Jersey.

Tackle the Trail 5K & 1-Mile Fitness/Dog Walk in Parsippany
The third-annual 5K cross country race, Tackle the Trail 5K & 1-Mile Fitness/Dog Walk, will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012.
The event will take place at Central Park of Morris County in Parsippany on a course featuring soft rolling hills and a mixture of grass, gravel, and natural trail surfaces with beautiful views.
Registrants will enjoy custom t-shirts, awards, raffle prizes, music, and refreshments.
The preregistration cost is $20 and $25 on race day. Preregistration ends on April 10th.
Race day registration begins at 7:00 am.  The 1 mile fitness/dog walk begins at 9:00 am and the 5K run begins at 9:15 am.

Earth Day Celebration, 5K Run/Walk & Fair at Liberty State Park in Jersey City
The Hudson County Improvement Authority’s (HCIA) Annual Earth Day celebration will kick off at 10:00 am in the South Field and inside the Historic CRRNJ Terminal at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey on Saturday, April 21, with a 5K Run and the 5K Walk for Liberty sponsored by the Friends of Liberty State Park.
With magnificent views of the New York City skyline, this day-long event provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the environment and create a memorable experience for your family.
