Pete poured his passion for adventure and thrills into his book, "America's Top Roller Coasters and Amusement Parks," which was released from Tate Publishing in August 2009. In his book, Pete teaches people how to overcome their fear of roller coasters and lists the best roller coasters and amusement parks around North America. All profits from his book are going to selected charities.
As of 2010, Pete is also working on two other projects: a book on his flying experiences with interviews from celebrities in the aviation and space industry; and another book devoted to those who love ballparks, football stadiums and the majestic cathedrals of sport.
Currently he is the Northeast sales director at CRS Jet Spares Corporation, where he travels around Northeast America and Canada, promoting CRS services and attending various air shows and aviation conferences.
As well, Pete also is a licensed private pilot and a major in the US Air Force Auxiliary New Jersey Wing Civil Air Patrol program. He was a former Squadron Commander (1990–2000)
Trabucco has been married since 1988 and has one daughter. He enjoys flying airplanes, tennis, thrill rides, acting and talking politics in his spare time. He has also been an assistant coach to both high school and college sports teams in baseball and football.
