Choice Cancer Care, an independent, physician-owned cancer center in North Texas is teaming up with the top chefs in their area who are going to create and share their cancer fighting recipes. The first chef that they will be working with is John Franke. He is all set to make Cancer Fighting Recipes using cancer preventative ingredients to help the body fight getting cancer.  These new recipes can help the patients of Choice Care Center as well as their friends and family create great tasting meals with the added benefit of cancer fighting ingredients.  

Chef Franke’s focus has always been on developing a menu using the freshest ingredients possible, utilizing locally sourced products, and making all of the recipes in house from scratch. He has a vast exposure of cooking. As a Corporate Chef of Front Burner Restaurants, Chef John Franke has led the menu development for Twin Peaks (15 locations), Ojos Locos Sports Cantina (4 locations), The Ranch at Las Colinas (Irving, TX), Whiskey Cake (Plano, TX), Red Dog Right (Southlake, TX), and the newly developed and soon to open Velvet Taco (Dallas, TX). As a chef, he enjoys teaching others, the how’s and why’s of food and cooking, creating new and creative menu items, and supporting the local vendors and purveyors in Texas.

It is expected that Chef Franke will create and share his wonderful Cancer Fighting Recipes with the patients and friends at Choice Cancer Care. With locations throughout North Texas, Choice Cancer Care is an independent, physician-owned cancer center network. Dr. Gregory Echt, a radiation oncologist with nearly two decades of experience, is the founder of Choice Cancer Care. And together, with some of the most notable radiation and Texas oncology specialists in the North Texas area, Dr. Echt and his team of oncologists specialize in creating personalized cancer treatment care plans for patients with all types of cancer.
