The Dream is Becoming a Reality...Debut Film Director Sells out Maryland Theatre, Meets Spike Lee

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 17, 2012 - Greencastle, PA – March 17, 2012 – Koran Dunbar (Writer/Director/Producer/Actor) received confirmation that he is ‘Doing The Right Thing’ when he met with Spike Lee last month. Spike Lee offered some reassuring words of advice to this up and coming artist. Lee confirmed in the beginning there is no logic to dream chasing. Just have faith because work ethic and a supportive crew will get you a long way. This is proving true as Koran and crew have SOLD OUT the Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown, MD for the local Red Carpet Premiere for his film ‘Greencastle’, 3 weeks early!

The film will premiere Saturday March 31st @ 8:00pm. Live interviews by NBC will begin at 6:00pm. The Red Carpet Event will kickoff at 6:30pm. The doors to the theatre will open at 7:00pm and the fun begins.

Guests will be entertained by renowned comedian Quevaughn Bryant at 7:30pm. Also entertaining the crowd on the Red Carpet will be international entertainer DJ Bizzy. He is a local Greencastle, Pa graduate traveling all the way from Los Angeles where he has numerous Paramount Pictures, Warner Brother Pictures, and Sony Pictures World Movie Premieres to his credit.

Adding to the excitement they have the lovely Sofia Samrad (TV Anchor at Fox 5 WNYW-TV New York/Host at SpeedLADating/CEO, Clothing Designer and Editor-In-Chief at Digitalebas), Shawn Quinn from WQCM 94.3 and Kyle Roberts from Shippensburg University’s SUTV hosting the Red Carpet.

Questions and Answers will begin shortly after the conclusion of the film and then many will continue the evening with one of the biggest parties of 2012 at Club Ava 28 S. Potomac St.

Guests will be wowed with 2 floors of entertainment by DJ Bizzy, DJ Gifted Son, DJ Sidekick, DJ Milk, DJ Tracy G, and DJ Kevin Yost. Tickets are $20.00 and will grant you access to both levels.
