Mike Church Film Tells the True Story of the Founding Fathers

The animated film opens in 1774 with John Adams, a brash, young lawyer from Boston, who has just been appointed to the First Continental Congress. There, Adams befriends Thomas Jefferson and several like-minded allies, including George Washington, Patrick Henry, and Ben Franklin (voiced by Emmy Award winner Jay Thomas), who seek to declare their independence from Great Britain. However, they must first convince their countrymen who oppose the idea nearly as forcefully as the British.

National radio talk show host and the CEO of Founding Father Films, Mike Church wrote and directed Road to Independence with the hope of correcting misconceptions about how America’s foremost patriots won the country’s freedom, including the men’s travels from Williamsburg to New York to Bunker Hill to spread their cause.

“This film will thrill entire generations of movie fans, whether they are familiar with the story or not.
