This fundraiser for the American Heart Association will likely become an annual event at IntelliTec. Next students are planning an event to support autism research and awareness. In the past, this student group has held several events to help those in need, including a food drive and homeless shelter volunteer day to benefit the local homeless in their community.
The Student Ambassadors was established by Admissions Representative Carole Earnshaw and Dean of Students Shelby Maloney. The Student Ambassadors join several other campus groups that have also been involved in charitable events such as a Bone Marrow Donor Drive, the March of Dimes’ “March for Babies” event, the Susan Komen “Walk for the Cure, breast cancer awareness event” and a “Stuff a Stocking” event to provide toys for children of students and various health fairs.
