Rice has had previous success with his first novel, "The Ghost Toucher" and his novella from 2011, "Fleshbags". He is also the author of numerous short stories and poems. He lives in southeast Michigan with his wife, daughter, and dog and is currently at work on the follow-up to his first novel, also set in and around his hometown.
