B&B Hôtels realizes its new Econochic® vision with MICROS solutions

March 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Neuss, Germany – March 9th, 2012 — MICROS Systems, Inc. a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that B&B Hôtels, a chain of Econochic® hotels across Europe, has signed a master agreement and selected MICROS technology for all of its hotels located in Italy, Poland, Portugal and the Czech Republic. B&B Hôtels is already using MICROS technology in Germany since 2009. MICROS-Fidelio will supply hotel management applications including OPERA, myfidelio.net, mylink and OPERA WebSuite immediately and will technically enable the B&B Hôtels expansion to selected European markets.

B&B Hôtels are located across Europe - in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and soon in the Czech Republic. The B&B Hôtels new Econochic® brand concept is based on modern, simple, yet generous hospitality. The B&B Hôtels offer pleasant, design and comfortable rooms and bathrooms with free wifi access and a large TV offer, a all you can eat breakfast, practical facilities, a friendly environment and competitive prices–to make their guests feel at home.
The solution will centralize the present B&B Hôtels system environment. Underlining this centralization strategy, B&B Hôtels will have approximately 60 properties hosted in a private cloud in the MICROS Data Center in Frankfurt/Germany by the end of 2012. Central control and statistics will be available through OPERA and will allow the hotel employees to analyze and base decisions on real-time hotel data. The MICROS OPERA solution will integrate various modules addressing headquarter, property, and distribution requirements.
