NEW HOPE, Pennsylvania (March 2012) - Jenei & Cohen, P.C., is pleased to announce that Charissa J. Liller, Esq., has been named a shareholder and is the first female shareholder of this historic law firm located in New Hope, PA. Ms. Liller’s focus is in family law and criminal defense based on her many years of experience as an Assistant District Attorney.
Ms. Liller started her career as an Assistant District Attorney for two years in the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. She then moved to Reading, Pennsylvania to become an Assistant District Attorney in the Berks County District Attorney’s Office. In 2004, Ms. Liller returned to Bucks County and joined a general practice firm in Newtown where she practiced criminal defense and family law prior to joining Baldi & Jenei, P.C., now Jenei & Cohen, P.C. In total, Ms. Liller completed over thirty jury trials to verdict, as well as multiple bench trials as an Assistant D.A. and now in private practice. Recently, Ms. Liller also successfully argued two precedent-setting appeals in the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Ms. Liller graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and upon graduation worked as a social worker with Children and Youth Services in Allegheny County. She then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
