FEECO International Commemorates 61 Years!

March 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Green Bay, WI (March 2012) – FEECO International, Inc. was founded in 1951, developing solutions for the fertilizer industry, and has since grown to supply equipment and engineering solutions to companies worldwide in a variety of industries, particularly the fertilizer, mining, and waste transformation sectors. FEECO works to create usable solutions from wastes that would normally go into landfills. Some amazing transformations include turning sludges into organic-based fertilizer, clays and saw dust into cat litter, valuable metal recovery from spent batteries, fuel pellets from petroleum coke dust, tar sand and the list goes on and on.
The past year has been an eventful one at FEECO International, with the shipment of three ore drums to Africa, a visit from Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker discussing the importance of mining in Wisconsin, and the upgrade to their state of the art testing and tolling facility. In addition, FEECO is a proud to be a recipient of the “Green Professional” title, from the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s Green Masters Program.
FEECO’s 60th anniversary last year, came with the opening of a branch in Australia. The Australia facility, run by Operations Manager, Barry Wilson, is a fully equipped testing facility, and is celebrating their one year anniversary this year.
Started by Jim Madigan, the international manufacturing company remains family-owned and operated under Jim’s son, Dan Madigan, with Jim still actively involved in FEECO operations. FEECO is proud to celebrate another successful year. President, Dan Madigan, sums it up when he says, “FEECO has been successful because of the employees that work here. Our average employee has worked for 24 years at FEECO. This provides us with a lot of knowledge that we can pass on to our customers.”
