Lew Marklin Official Book Release, Celebrity Event, March 31, 2012

March 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Hollywood, CA - Lew Marklin's new book, "TV In ADHD: The Reel Story of ADHDtv" about his days producing ADHDtv will be officially released March 31, 2011 at a star studded celebrity fundraiser event for Give the Kids the World.  The event is also the launch of Boss TV, new home to Icon News, also starring Lewis Marklin Mash a.k.a. Lew Marklin.  The event starts at 6:30 pm, with press check in at 5:30 pm and will go until 12:30 AM. Mash is an honorary emcee of the night and has gained much recognition with his charity work for Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, Make a Wish Foundation, Dream Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, ONE.org, National Humane Society, Photo Charities, PETA and many others.  Mash now sits on the board for Conscious Music Entertainment and Muzart World Foundation, with songwriter/agent Milliea McKinney and Starpoint Records President, former MCA Records VP, Pat Melfi, to ensure music and arts in the future of children through positive mentoring.  
From 2007-2009 ADHDtv was syndicated to 52 US cities, was the highest rated independent TV show in history by IMDb and was nominated for 2 Regional Emmy's.  Mash's book explains the process of creating a show like ADHDtv with no budget.  Mash is currently ranked among the top 3000 people in the world by IMDb, who rates over 6 million celebrities, both alive and dead, weekly.  Says Marklin "Charity has become as important to my life and career as my art and I could not think of a better event or cause to celebrate the launch of my book.  It is a true honor.  These children need our love and support.  They are more important than any of the projects I produce, therefor it was fitting to release my book in an atmosphere of love and let the attention be turned to this great cause, rather than some pointless party where I spend the night telling everyone how cool I am for producing a TV show and writing a book.  We are also excited about the new launch of BOSS TV and are proud to be a part of the movement."
