Up twago at CeBIT - A Resounding Success

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 15, 2012 - Berlin, 15.03.2012 twago (http://www.twago.com) was among the 50 finalists of the CODE_n business plan competition who won the chance to hold a stand at the world's largest IT fair. For 5 days, from 6th to 10th March, the Berlin-based start up enjoyed the opportunity of presenting its online market place for freelancers to the programming and design world.

“Without this win in the CODE_n competition we would not have been able to afford to take part in CeBIT. For such a young company, participating in the world’s most important IT fair was something really special. We would like to thank CODE_n for this rare opportunity”, commented the Founder and CEO of twago, Gunnar Berning. The highlight of the twago week was the panel discussion the company held at its own stand on the topic of cloud working. The deputy director of the Kapersky virus analysis team, Magnus Kalkuhl, discussed, together with experts Jacint Bofias from Spain and Francesco Ascari from Italy, the opportunities and risks of this new form of working
via the Internet. All three see a huge opportunity for reducing unemployment figures, above all in southern countries, through cloud working. In addition to this, the panel also discussed the topic of Internet security and how data protection and payment methods will improve for the future.

twago used its time at CeBIT to develop interesting contacts with other start ups as well as larger companies. “Personally, I hadn’t anticipated just how many interesting and useful contacts there would be at CeBIT. If I have my way, then we will definitely be participating at next years CeBIT”, said twago employee, Johannes Heim.
