PRLog - March 14, 2012 - PARIS, Texas -- This annual chili cook-off event has benefited non-profit organizations every year and this year, they have teamed up with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). A non-profit organization, WWP was started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members and has grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they recover and transition back to civilian life.
10th Annual Chili Cook-Off April 21
Running from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be activities throughout the event. The Hooters girls will be on site 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the chili judging will start 12:05 p.m. and there will also be military vehicles on site, live music, wine tasting and more. The American Veterans Traveling Tribute 400 foot “Freedom Wall,” a replica of the original wall located in Arlington, Virginia will also be on-site for the duration of the event. Parking is free and there will be a shuttle service from Home Depot to the event location.
