The Coca-Cola floating billboard graphics depict Coca-Cola bottle caps forming a smile. The billboard ad will be anchored on the water 100 feet from the shore outside the swim zone and also appear on the sandy beaches. The inflatable billboards will be displayed for 3 months in Salinas and are expected to reach upwards of 250,000 viewers.
Coca-Cola contracted Imaginarios Publicidad Movil (IPM), an alternative advertising supplier based in Quito, to provide the 24' x 14' amphibious billboards. In addition to the aquatic billboards, Imaginarios Publicidad arsenal of media includes standard billboards, bus banners, taxi tops, bicycle banners, vehicle wraps, and other below-the-line niche advertising.
The amphibious outdoor billboard displays, patented, produced and distributed by bbi Displays USA, can be placed on the ocean, lakes, rivers and other various waterways. The out-of-home billboard structures are linkable to create multiple advertising sizes. The billboard boats are commonly used to reach coastal audiences, boaters, bridges, roadways and events near the sea.
