“Today’s Caregiver Magazine, http://www.caregiver.com and the Fearless Caregiver Conferences were conceived out of the void of available support for family caregivers. When our family was faced with the challenges of caring for our dad and two grandparents, dealing with a wide variety of healthcare challenges, my mother and I decided to help others going through the caregiving process by starting a magazine,” Barg said. “We had no idea that the magazine would grow into such a success as the first national publication for family and professional caregivers.”
The magazine, started 17 years ago, has grown into the nationally distributed Today’s Caregiver magazine, a Web community, http://www.caregiver.com, and Fearless Caregiver Conferences, held across the nation, that have educated over 40,000 families and professional caregivers across the country.
