“This is a fantastic opportunity for people to get more information about the Walk and connect with others in the Louisville community,” said Jenny Silberisen, Community Development Manager of the Kentucky Chapter of CCFA. “The Take Steps Walk is the Foundation’s largest fundraising event and is fueling critical research, getting us closer to finding a cure for inflammatory bowel disease.”

Besides meeting other teams, sponsors and vendors involved with the walk, all those in attendance will meet Georgia Barrett, Louisville’s Honored Hero. In addition to raising money for research, Take Steps brings together the Crohn’s and colitis community in a fun and energetic atmosphere, with plenty of food, entertainment and festivities for the entire family, the kickoff promises to be a great celebration!”

The Louisville Take Steps is the largest fundraiser for the Kentucky Chapter of CCFA to help fund research grants and provide community education.
