Schwäbischer Sängerbund Mixed Chorus and Sängerchor Men’s Chorus present Songfest 2012.

Let the trumpets sound!  Let the songs ring out!

Join the Schwäbischer Sängerbund Mixed Chorus and Sängerchor Men’s Chorus for the most glorious music of the season in their performance of Songfest 2012 on Sunday, May 6th. The chorus will perform under the direction of Music director and conductor Professor Gregory S. Scime.

Songfest 2012 features songs from ‘Our Heimat & Adopted Homeland’. You will journey back in time to Old World Germany, and then travel back to our Homeland through the compilation of both familiar and well-known songs performed by the chorus. The chorus performs songs in German and English captivating the attention of their audience.

Enjoy a musical afternoon. and join us at Songfest 2012. The concert will be held at Holy Spirit Church, conveniently located on the corner of Morris Ave & Suburban Rd., (GPS: 971 Suburban Road, Union NJ) Sunday, May 6th at 4pm.

Both the Schwäbischer Sängerbund Mixed Chorus and Sängerchor Men’s Chorus are non-profit organizations. Songfest 2012 is a fund-raiser in an attempt to continue the effort in promoting the educational and cultural heritage through the participation of choral singing. Open auditions, all the time.
