Baker will be speaking to the students at East Georgia College in Swainsboro on March 24, 2012 during an 11:00A.M. assembly and participating in a community luncheon and book signing at 12noon. Dawn’s Daughter, Baker’s premiere self-help book for teen and young adult females, made its debut on November 8, 2011. She will discuss her success as an author and provide insight about her book. Baker is a news anchor with WTOC-TV in Savannah. In her spare time, she supports her community by hosting multiple charitable events and serving as a board member for various non-profit organizations.
