Print Art Brings Home Silver ADDY

March 13, 2012 - PRLog -- EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ – March 13, 2012 – Print Art, Inc.  is pleased to announce that The Philly Ad Club has honored the company with a Silver ADDY award for its recent “Holiday Toasters” promotion. The winners of the 2012 Philadelphia ADDY Awards were announced at a ceremony in Philadelphia on Thursday, March 8 at Vie, 600 North Broad Street.

Print Art was recognized in the category of “Advertising Industry Self-Promotion – Creative Services and Industry Suppliers – Cards/Invitations/Announcements.” The award marks a couple of firsts for Print Art: its first ADDY and its first time entering the celebrated competition.  

“We’re thrilled and extremely honored to receive an ADDY from the Philly Ad Club,” said Carl Blase, Print Art’s CEO. “It’s especially meaningful because everyone here had a hand in developing this piece.” From concept and design, to printing, execution and fulfillment, all aspects were handled by the Print Art team.

Print Art’s “Holiday Toasters” were mailed to customers in early December 2011 and received a remarkable response. The promotion included a set of six unique die-cut coasters, each bearing a clever phrase meant to spark conversation — or even an impromptu toast. Not only fun but functional, the playful “Toasters” were perfect for use at any holiday affair. Especially in a pinch.

Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDYs honor excellence and creativity in advertising. It’s the industry’s largest competition — and one of the most prestigious. ADDYs are awarded across numerous categories and on two tiers: silver and gold. The winners earn the right to advance to regional and national competitions. This year there were 132 winners, which included 76 gold, 49 silver and seven "Best of Category."
