If the wind is blowing and exceeds 20mph, a 3.6kHz, 90 dB audible alarm warns of unsafe wind conditions.  Since it is self-powered for ultimate reliability, there is never a dead battery to replace – there isn’t even an on/off switch!   breezeSONIC’s high reliability construction features a fully-hardened beryllium-copper shaft running in self-lubricating modified Teflon bearings.  No meters to read and hands free operation. Patent-pending breezeSONIC weighs only 13 oz and simply mounts on a 13 mm (0.5 in) diameter mast with cotter pin and mast set screw.  The 3 ft mounting mast and clamp enables instant attachment to typical platform guard rails. breezeSONIC is compact in size - 184 mm (7.25 in) tall, with a rotor diameter of 190 mm (7.5 inches), and breezeSONIC’s 2” Conical cups measure wind speed with an accuracy of 0.2 mph from 11 to 55 mph.
