Considering Alaska Fishing Trips? Bob's Cabin & Guide Service Updates Riverfront Cabins For Guests

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 20, 2012 - KENAI, AK -- Bob's Cabin & Guide Service, a business that provides Alaska fishing trips for visitors, recently completed an upgrade to two of its riverfront cabins.

The Soldotna Riverfront Lodge, located on the banks of Alaska's Kenai River, had gas fireplaces added to the bedrooms and a fully refurbished kitchen with a new stove and dishwasher, new countertops and track lighting. A half bathroom and new full size hand-crafted log beds were also added to the upstairs.

A smaller cabin, the Soldotna Riverfront Cabin, also underwent upgrades, including a new bathroom and bedroom with new beds, a fireplace and even a large deck so guests can overlook the Kenai River by just stepping outside of the bedroom onto the spacious deck. The kitchen and original bathroom in the Soldotna Riverfront Cabin also received an update and the exterior was completely covered with new log siding. Additionally, a hand crafted log love seat and log day bed were both added to the cabin.

"We're always looking for ways to enhance our guests' experience when they're here for a Kenai River fishing vacation and we feel like our improved cabins will really set the tone for a great trip. In addition to the two newly updated cabins, Bob's Cabin & Guide Service has another cabin coming soon. The new cabin will be almost 1000 square feet with two stories and both lower and upper decks. Guests can take advantage of a full kitchen, two bedrooms with gas fireplaces and two bathrooms. The cabin will have the same quality furnishings as the other cabins, including satellite flatscreen televisions and queen and twin beds.

Bob's Cabin & Guide Service's Alaska fishing trips are available from mid May through September. Guests can choose their vacation time based on the type of fish they would like to catch, as different species such as king salmon, sockeye salmon, silver salmon, halibut and trout are plentiful during different times of the fishing season.
