March 30th: 90th Anniversary Garden Center Opening! The Garden Center will be opening for the 2012 season on Friday, March 30th. Springtime hours will be 9:00 am- 5:00 pm, 7 days a week. Vinny Bucks are back by popular demand, and customers can begin earning the day we open. Customers earn 1 Vinny Buck for every $10 they spend at the Garden Center, redeemable for up to 50% of purchase during Vinny Bucks Week in July (July 13-22).
April 7th: Easter Egg Hunt on the Farm, 12:00pm. Confreda Greenhouses & Farm will be visited by the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 7th, so bring your kids and cameras to join him on a traditional Easter egg hunt starting promptly at 12:00! We invite kids up to ten years old to participate in this event! Bring your own basket to get as many eggs as you can, then find the colored eggs in our hunting area, and enjoy some yummy treats as your prize when you trade in your eggs! This event will occur RAIN OR SHINE; we will have indoor facilities set up for the hunt in case of inclement weather.
Easter is Blossoming at Confreda Throughout April: Don’t forget, spring flowers and plants are blooming at Confreda! Even if you’re not attending the egg hunt, stop by our Garden Center for beautiful Easter lilies, hyacinths, tulips, and other spring flowers to celebrate the spring. We will be open on Easter Sunday from 9am-1pm, so you can stop by anytime to pick up some lovely flowers for your celebration!
