Clark Planetarium strives to be a leader in for space and science education. Their mission is to create and present enlightening information that inspires wonder and learning about space and science. The Clark Planetarium opened in April 2003, replacing Hansen Planetarium, with a grant from the Clark Foundation in cooperation with Salt Lake County. Hansen Planetarium opened in 1965.
Nielsen’s practice is centered on IP counseling—in particular, the design and implementation of business driven strategies to identify, protect, defend, enforce and otherwise build value around IP assets, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Nielsen has experience in virtually all facets of IP law including patent and trademark prosecution (U.S. and foreign), proceedings before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, freedom to operate diligence, invalidity and non-infringement opinion work, patentability diligence, trademark screening, IP dispute resolution and litigation (state and federal), and diverse agreements and business transactions having IP components. Nielsen received his B.S. from the University of Utah in Biomedical Engineering. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
