One small village in England.

A young boy called Solomon.

A bunch of faeries and a bad ass of a monster.

When the young boy gets taken over by an evil, the mythical creatures of faery tales must fight it, destroy it and save Solomon.

A story simply about how mythical creatures that we have loved and grown up with, still live on in a woodland close to a village called, Birchover, England.

Solomon never guessed that walking into the wood at the bottom of his garden would change his life forever.

It didn't just change his life, it nearly killed him!

It was up to the faeries to save him or kill destroy him.

Solomon, a young boy and his family move to the village of Birchover as the city they were living in was causing health problems for Solomon, their son.

After settling down in their new home, Solomon was itching to visit the woodland that rested at the back of their garden. With permission from his mother, Solomon goes off and into the wood.

After a while he can't find his way back home, just before he starts to cry out, he notices a bright light coming towards him. As it stops in front of his face and dims its light, Solomon cries out, "Faery!"

She introduces herself as Caitlin Lavender and guides Solomon home. As she does, she tells him of a terrible monster that is imprisoned under the great tree at the heart of the wood.

It's held imprisoned by magic, that is based on mankind believing in mythical beasts, but as they are believed to be only stories, the magic is getting weaker.

One night as Solomon is in his bed being kept awake by a terrible storm, the tree is hit by a thunderous lightning strike, nearly destroying the whole tree and the magic.

The elders of the faeries quickly come together and seal the tree from any more damage. They know it is only a matter of time before a great evil is released upon this world.

A few days later, Solomon convinces his parents to into the wood and see the tree. As they do, a faery called Cowl Monkshood shows himself to them. With an opportune moment showing itself, he takes hold of Solomon and disappears. The faery has taken Solomon to the evil under the tree.

After his parents are comforted by other faeries, they feel a great rumbling under the ground. Surronding the tree, dragons, brags, oakmen and the faeries, as well as creatures of the woodland surround the tree.

Just then it explodes and Solomon rises up above the ground, taken over by the evil.

A great battle starts and the faeries must save Solomon before he destroys everything, while under the influence of the evil that has completely taken over him.

This has been a story that was written for my son when he was born in 2006, now after being recorded and given away for free as a 17 episode Podcast. It has been cleaned up, edited and now available for the very first time on Amazon Kindle.
