Encore Adult Daily Enrichment Center Offers Free Trial for New Guests

March 13, 2012 - PRLog -- (PLANO, Texas) – Encore Adult Daily Enrichment Center (Encore) is offering a free three-day trial for new guests at its memory care day center in North Texas. Encore provides a comprehensive program with stimulating activities, a cutting-edge life enrichment program and support designed especially for those with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory impairments.

“In the state of Texas, the number of at-home caregivers has increased by 49 percent since 2009, said Encore’s Community Director Gary Allinger. “We want to ensure those caregivers have a resource available for advice and a much-needed break. Offering this trial to the community opens our doors to those who may not have known such a resource existed.”

The free three-day trial is available to any member of the community with Alzheimer’s or dementia who has not been to Encore within the past year. Encore provides a safe and secure day center for guests with Alzheimer’s and dementia. As part of their stay, guests can participate in therapeutic activities designed to enhance their lives through specially developed memory care practices. Activities include art, dance, pet therapy, cooking classes, exercise, even video games and more.

Located at 6505 W. Park Blvd., Suite 116, in Plano, Encore is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are provided with breakfast, lunch and a snack.
