According to Mitchell Warren, president of The LaSalle Group – which designed and constructed Autumn Leaves of Rockwall and is a national leader in developing specialized, stand-alone properties throughout the United States – the new community in Rockwall will make an immediate impact.
“Our home-like approach to caregiving for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia is unique to the industry, and I am confident it will become valuable to the Rockwall community,” said Warren. “Not only do we intend to be a resource to the community, but we want to invest in Rockwall as well through job creation and ongoing education. We’ve already created more than 200 jobs.”
Each Autumn Leaves community is approximately 26,000 square feet and is supported by an expert, dedicated team of approximately 40 staff members. Unlike most independent and assisted living centers, every Autumn Leaves staff member is rigorously and exclusively trained and certified to serve its residents’ unique needs.
Among Rockwall’s unique needs is working closely with someone who understands the community. Autumn Leaves was aware of that when they hired Gina Lozano as its community relations director, who has been a part of the Rockwall community for the past decade. She is on the board of the local Alzheimer’s Community Walk and was accepted into the prestigious Rockwall Rotary last week in an effort to raise awareness about caregiving for Alzheimer’s.
“Our business model of smart growth and family focus is setting the standard in caring for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia,” said Chad Anderson, president of Constant Care Family Management. “Our community in Rockwall will sustain the momentum we are currently experiencing and help us maintain our position of servant leadership and passionate caregiving for those in need of memory care and their families. With Gina helping us in Rockwall, I look forward to serving the community immediately.”
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, Autumn Leaves of Rockwall is the 10th community in the Dallas-Fort Worth region since the company broke ground on its first innovative development more than 10 years ago in North Texas.
