Houston, TX – March 13, 2012 – Just Between Friends (JBF) North Houston, Texas’ largest children’s and maternity consignment sales event is hosting their tenth semi-annual sale. The one-stop shopping sales experience became a staple during the faltering economy as bargain shoppers sought to stretch their declining budgets. With the average shopper saving between 50% to 90% off of retail pricing, Just Between Friends was a concept whose time had come. Even now with economic indicators on the rise the popular sales event is poised to have the strongest sale season yet.
Held at the Willowbrook AMC Theater Plaza in Houston, March 29 – April 1, 2012, the semi annual sale features hundreds of thousands of items that includes name-brand and boutique children’s spring and summer attire; baby equipment, electronics, and toys. A
portion of the sale’s proceeds as well as unsold items are donated to local charities, Mom’s Helping Moms and Spaulding for Children Foster Care.
Started in an area church in 2007 as the first and only children’s consignment sale in the city, Just Between Friends North Houston has grown to a massive sale requiring over 30,000 square feet of space. in their tenth season, the upcoming event is expecting record attendance.
Quotes: Jennifer Liebl Owner, Just Between Friends of Houston
“The kind of growth our company has seen over the past few years is unparalleled,”
“Our consignors love the fact that they can make money by selling their gently used clothing and items while bettering our community through our area charities. Additionally, shoppers are thrilled when they see beautiful, brand-name and designer merchandise at a fraction of what the cost of retail stores,” said Liebl. “A savings of 50-90% off retail is enough to make a huge difference in a family budget. It is truly is a sale where everyone wins - our consignors as they sell their items, our shoppers as they enjoy remarkable savings, and our community as our preferred charities receive a portion of our proceeds and surplus merchandise,”
“One of the results of having the sale largest in the City is that we attract shopper from all walks of life,” said Liebl. We are particularly proud of this. In addition to your typical soccer moms, we have foster parents, grandparents raising their grandchildren, and even a few single dads. We take extra care to assist these non-traditional parents as they seek bargains. Their resources can be so tight and they very much need a place like JBF to shop to make a difference in their household budgets.”
***Interview with Liebl may take place between now and sale end date of Sun, April 1st for advance taping or scheduling purposes. Early opportunity for interview and visuals at Pre-Sale, Thu, March 29th***
