At the beginning of the webinar, Mark Seyforth announced that last month's cash prize of $25,000 went unclaimed after multiple attempts to contact the winner. Apparently, the winner did not enter valid contact information and One24 was unable to contact the winner so the prize money went unclaimed.
Most companies would have just kept the $25,000. Not One24. They selected the next highest ticket number from last month's drawing and awarded the prize to a new winner this month, in addition to the normal drawing for $25,000 this month. The audience was excited to see One24 give away over $50,000, in addition to the many other wonderful prizes that were awarded to multiple winners.
Instead of spending money a ton of money on advertising and media, One24 has chosen to promote their company through word-of-mouth recommendations. PC's of One24 invite others to enter the sweepstakes to learn more about the company. No purchase is necessary; and as long as the individual gets on the waiting list they will be entered into the sweepstakes without further obligation.
