Equality Charter School raises more than $8,000 in Annual Bowl for Equality Event

March 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Over 300 bowlers, comprised of students, staff and friends of Equality Charter School came out to support the "1st Annual Bowl of Equality" event, held on March 4, 2012 at Bowlmor Lanes in Union Square, New York.  The fun-filled event which featured bowling, a raffle and more, helped raise more than $8,000 for the students of Equality Charter School, far exceeding the initial fundraising goal.

"We are thrilled with the support and enthusiasm from everyone who came out to our 1st Annual Bowl for Equality Event", said Caitlin Franco, Principal of Equality Charter School. "We are so thankful to everyone who contributed and helped Equality surpass its fundraising goals and who made the event such a success."
