Oxford University Computing Genius invited to Commonwealth Day

The youngest ever community manager of a Fortune 500 Company and volunteer at the EIE Programme, a non-profit organisation helping with the academic development of inner-city students has been invited to meet the Queen at Commonwealth Day

Anne-Marie Imafidon, the youngest ever Computer and Mathematics Masters degree graduates from Oxford University has been invited to Commonwealth Day as a special guest, an event attended by the Queen. Commonwealth Day is an annual celebration of the Commonwealth Nations. It is held on the second Monday in March, and is commemorated with a multi-faith service in Westminster Abbey. Attendees include: the Queen - who is the Head of the Commonwealth - HRH Duke of Edinburgh, Prime Minister David Cameron; Sir John Major (Former British Prime Minister) and representatives of other Commonwealth countries.

Anne-Marie, who is also the youngest ever community manager of a Fortune 500 Company, is also the eldest sister in the cerebral and record-breaking Imafidon family. Her youngest siblings, Wonder Twins, Peter and Paula became the youngest twins ever to be admitted to secondary school, having passed Cambridge Mathematics at age 8. She herself set a world record in Computing, becoming the youngest person to pass A-Level Computing at the tender age of 11. 1) 12th of March 2012 is the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations held on the second Monday in March. The event is marked by a multi-faith service in Westminster Abbey, London attended by Her Majesty the Queen and the Commonwealth Secretary-General as well as other dignitaries. The Queen also delivers an address to the Commonwealth, which is broadcast to all four corners of the globe.
