Archetype Ranked #1 in Career Development and Learning and #33 Overall by Oregon Business Magazine

March 12, 2012 - PRLog -- On Thursday, March 1, 2012, Archetype Inc joined Oregon’s elite businesses in celebrating Oregon Business Magazine’s 19th year recognizing the “100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon”, at a prestigious award ceremony and dinner held at Portland’s Convention Center. Out of more than 14,000 employees surveyed and 263 participating employers, Archetype was ranked # 1 in Career Development & Learning among all small companies in the state of Oregon.

“It’s an honor to be recognized in the areas we value the most,” said Melissa White, President. Along with achieving an overall #33 out of all businesses ranked among Small Companies with 15-34 employees, the 100 Best Companies were also evaluated in 5 specific categories - Work Environment, Management & Communication, Decision-Making & Trust, Career Development & Learning, and Benefits & Compensation. Archetype took home top honors, earning the #1 spot and besting all other companies nominated in Career Development & Learning – a measure of On-the-Job training, educational support, growth opportunities and promotions, and job goals and expectations.

Each year, Oregon Business Magazine invites Oregon’s best and brightest businesses committed to providing a great work environment for their employees to celebrate their achievements.
