New expectations about information, the promise of data mining for giving, and new ways of organizing for change are already pointing toward the basic toolkit of donors and doers of the 21st century. Lucy Bernholz, author of “Disrupting Philanthropy” and the Blueprint Annual Industry forecast series, will talk about 2012 and the years ahead.
The Dallas Social Venture Partners Luncheon Series features nationally-renowned guest speakers to discuss how businesses, charities and the community can make the most impact through philanthropy.

In addition to Bernholz, the series will feature Dan Pallotta, Author of “Uncharitable: How Restraints on Nonprofits Undermine Their Potential” and Founder of the Charity Defense Council, to discuss “Capitalism for Good” on April 13.  A panel featuring Susan Hoff of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Regina Nippert of the Center on Communities and Education at Simmons, Todd Wagner of Commit!, and Danny Henley of the Zero-to-Five Funders’ Collaborative will discuss “Collective Impact” on May 18.
