Mary B. Vail Publicist Recognized With Gold Marcom Awards

March 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Mary Vail, OSG Publicist a Las Vegas based Public Relations firm winner of two distinguished Gold  MarCom awards.

Vail captured the Awards for the firm’s involvement in two noted projects. As co-editor, with Virginia Martino and Joseph Vassallo and publisher Schiffer Publishing, she won for the International Award Winning Pools, Spas, & Water Environments II, a coffee table book showcasing the annual winners of the GAVA Awards in the Marketing-Promotions-Book category.  

Vail also won in the Public Service-Pro Bono Special Events category for design of the 12th Annual Make A Difference Day Food Drive collateral materials.  As founder of the event, Vail collaborated on the creative elements with graphic designer Stephanie Zobrist on the award winning concept.

Both entries were selected as a winner from over 6,000 entries throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries.

MarCom Awards is a competition for companies or individuals involved in the creation of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. The competition is one of the most significant of its kind in the world. Widely respected participants include national public relations organizations, local ad clubs and local business chapters. Industry professional judges from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals rate contestants based on their excelling standards and prominent influence in the industry.
