Lakefest officials announce the official hotels of the 2012 Texoma Lakefest Regatta.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 10, 2012 - The Texoma Lakefest Foundation and Texoma Sailing Club announced that Hampton Inn and Suites – Denison, TX and Comfort Inn and Suites – Denison, TX as the exclusive, official hotels of the 2012 Texoma Lakefest Regatta, to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas.  The hotels have donated the housing of regatta officials and Collegiate Challenge participants, as well as discounted rates for regatta participants.  

About Texoma Lakefest Regatta – As the oldest inland charity regatta in the United States, the Texoma Lakefest Regatta has been benefitting children’s charities in North Texas for over 25 years.  Originally named "The Easter Regatta," Lakefest has raised over two million dollars for various children's charities in North Texas.  The 2012 edition benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas and is held April 13-15, 2012.  The venue is Grandpappy Point Marina on Lake Texoma.
