Proxicast Releases Version 5.13 of its IPSec VPN Client Software for Windows

Proxicast, manufacturer of the LAN-Cell family of 3G and 4G (LTE, HSPA+) cellular routers, announces the immediate release of version 5.13 of the Proxicast IPSec VPN Client Software for Windows which offers customers a simple to deploy and easy to use VPN solution for remote access over 3G and 4G cellular networks.

Version 5.13 retains all the features of previous versions, such as the easy setup VPN Wizard and adds many new features, enhancements and updates. Version 5.13 is a free upgrade for existing Proxicast IPSec VPN Client customers. The Proxicast IPSec VPN Client software is able to deliver a Windows-based VPN solution that is customized for the Proxicast LAN-Cell family of 3G and 4G cellular routers, yet fully compatible with VPN routers from over 60 other vendors.  

New features in version 5.13 of the Proxicast IPSec VPN Client include:

•   Ability to auto-launch Windows Remote Desktop upon tunnel connection

The Proxicast VPN Client provides full IPSec and IKE support, strong network authentication, strong network encryption through DES, 3DES, AES and RSA, support for multiple connection types like DSL, Cable, cellular and Wi-Fi and multiple simultaneous tunnels. Other VPN Client features such as Dynamic DNS support eliminates need for static IP’s on either end of the VPN tunnel.

The Configuration Wizard in the VPN Client software complements VPN Wizard in LAN Cell router’s firmware. Remote users can setup a VPN connection in under a minute with just a few parameters in each wizard. The Proxicast VPN Client for Windows is also interoperable with hundreds of other IPSec hardware and software solutions from other leading security vendors.

The Proxicast IPSec VPN Client is available for all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows.
