March 9, 2012 - PRLog -- BOSTON – MTV’s Deena Nicole Cortese of the reality series “Jersey Shore” will be at the 38th annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels custom car show and motorsports exposition. The Town Fair Tire World of Wheels (http://www.autorama.com) runs the weekend of Mar. 30-Apr. 1 at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center. Cortese will meet spectators and sign free autographs at the show noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Apr. 1.

The Town Fair Tire World of Wheels features displays of hundreds of one-of-a-kind hot rods, customs, trucks and motorcycles, specialty and feature vehicles, celebrity appearances and special attractions.

Cortese, also known as "The Blast in a Glass," joined the “Jersey Shore” cast in its third season and has helped the show to record-breaking ratings. She grew up in the small Jersey town of New Egypt. Initially, she was cast to be in season one of “Jersey Shore” but turned down the opportunity to be with her family. The producers, along with her good friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, convinced her to rejoin the cast for season three. Cortese has more than 700,000 Twitter followers and is an energy drink spokesperson. She tours the country to meet her fans because she says she believes in bringing the party to them. Deena still resides in New Egypt with her family and two cats, Mako and Buddy. She will be seen next in season five of “Jersey Shore.”

Also appearing at the Town Fair Tire World of Wheels with Cortese will be Billy Bretherton of A&E TV’s “Billy the Exterminator,” who will be there on Saturday, Mar. 31, 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung, who will be at the show on Sunday, Apr. 1, 1-3 p.m. In addition, the Ol Skool Rodz Pinup Girl Contest will take place on Friday, Mar. 30, at 8 p.m.

Besides the hot rods and customs created by local car enthusiasts, which make up the bulk of the show, feature cars at this year’s show will include the “Transformers III” movie series Bumblebee, a special edition 2012 Chevrolet Camaro; ’60s bubbletop car called Mantaray; BASF 1957 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, redesigned by well known custom designer and builder Chip Foose; and four special car sections—the Shake Pit, with vintage and current Ford muscle cars; World of Wheels Ol Skool Rodz display; Direct Connection display of vintage and current Hemi-powered vehicles; and Drag City USA’s vintage race cars.
