March 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Myers, FL – Ed Lopez, the Producer and founder of Latin Dance LIVE, is pleased to announce that registration for the Latin Dance LIVE Competition is now open. Put on your dance shoes, grab your dance partner and get ready to compete in the first ever Latin Dance LIVE Competition to be held on April 21, 2012 at Harborside Event Center. Dancers will compete for valuable cash and prizes. Latin Dance LIVE is a 3-Day Latin dance party, performance and festival that will be held in the Fort Myers’ Downtown River District on April 20-22.

All interested dance partners must submit a two-minute video of their dance routine by April 8th. The rules, categories, prizes and registration forms can be found at htttp://www.LatinDanceLIVE.com under the “Registration” tab.

Latin Dance Live will feature internationally renown Latin dancers, and the first ever Latin Music Walk on Friday April 20th, with entertainers performing in most restaurants and night clubs throughout the evening. A Welcoming Party kicks off at 10pm at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, which will open its doors to welcome guests and international Latin dance superstars. The is a $10 cover charge to attend the VIP Welcome Party.

On Saturday, April 21, from 9-5, the community will be invited to a Latin dance competition, dance workshops, and presentation on the origin of various Latin dances inside the Harborside Event Center. Outside Harborside, the Latin Dance LIVE Festival will be held with vendors lining the streets to sell Latin food, beverage, arts, crafts, and more. At 8pm, Harborside will transform into a Latin Dance Club with heart pounding lights, sounds and dance performances. On Sunday, the Latin dance party will continue in Fort Myers Beach.
