Summit Energy Names Mike Fraser Vice President of Sustainability Development

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 9, 2012 - Louisville, KY. – March 9, 2012 – Summit Energy, a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, announced today that Mike Fraser has joined the company as Vice President of Sustainability Development. Fraser will be responsible for leading Summit’s growth initiatives in the area of sustainability consulting and services, including the company’s online sustainability and energy management software, dashboarDView.

“Mike brings a strong record of success for high-profile organizations in the area of environmental sustainability,” said Steve Wilhite, CEO of Summit Energy. “His expertise and passion for sustainability have positioned him as a thought leader within the industry, and I’m excited to have him leading our team as we continue to expand our sustainability services and technology.”

Fraser has more than 30 years of experience in environmental and recycling services, systems integration and business management. Prior to joining Summit, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for a leading provider of product and supply chain sustainability data. Fraser’s career includes a 20-year stay at a multi-national recovery and recycling company where he served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Group Sales and International. In this role, he led a 250-person sales and strategic account management team while also directing the company’s expansion into Mexico, China and Southeast Asia.

Fraser has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is a regular contributor for Sustainable Life Media publications.  His honors include: Distinguished Global Alumni, Murray State University; Who’s Who in Finance and Industry; Who’s Who in the Midwest; Who’s Who Environmental Registry; Who’s Who of U.S. Executives; awards from Federal Express (Bravo Zulu), Kiwanis and other civic organizations.
