Poll Results: More Than 90% Think Gas Prices Will Reach $5 This Summer

Headline Politics’ online poll overwhelmingly shows Americans hold the Obama Administration responsible for high gas prices
 
March 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Headline Politics, a provider of political news and insight polls, released results from a recent online poll about Americans’ concerns with rising gas prices.

The public opinion poll, which ran online from February 29 through March 5, 2012, asked readers, “Do you think gas prices will reach $5 this summer?” and “Who is most responsible for high gas prices?”

Out of over 13,000 respondents, 90.8% believed gas prices will reach $5 per gallon. 86% stated that the Obama Administration is most responsible for high gas prices; followed by 5% stating that market speculators are responsible and 5% for environmental regulations. The online poll was conducted across news and commentary websites. Results are disclosed to Headline Politics’ 52,000 e-newsletter subscribers. This poll is based on voluntary responses from readers.
