March 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Operation Open Doors of Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire is hosting a “Veterans Ready to Work Expo” on Wednesday, March 21 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Gym located 3000 Bee Road, Savannah, GA.



SAVANNAH - Operation Open Doors of Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire invites the business community to answer the call to hire a Vet, during their “Veterans Ready to Work Expo” on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.  Operation Open Doors (OOD) is committed to providing employment search assistance, including work readiness and work ethics training to Veterans of the United States military in preparation to competitively navigate the job market.   Since OOD program inception in 2010:

   More than 144 veterans have been helped
   58 veterans have been successfully placed in jobs
   76 veterans referred to housing programs.
