Mecca Leads Market In Use Of Electronic Bingo Terminals Developed By X2 Computing

March 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Mecca Bingo is now the largest single user of electronic bingo terminals in the UK after installing over 8000 Mecca Max handheld tablets developed by X2 Computing.  The devices give customers the choice to play anything from standard games of bingo and cashline to Category C, D and B3 amusements, video bingo content and skill games without leaving the comfort of their own seats.  Electronic bingo terminals have proved such a hit with customers that Mecca is investing an additional £500.000 in the concept to ensure that even more people can enjoy electronic bingo in its clubs, bringing the total investment in the product to £6.5m.

Mecca Max was developed in partnership with X2 Computing and ECM.  It comprises a 10.2” touch screen display and a ruggedised casing, with built-in handle and stand, along with a high power battery that delivers more than 10 hours of continuous battery life.  X2 Computing also supplied custom modular charging racks with built-in cooling systems designed and built to fit the physical layout constraints of clubs.  Each module provides safe and secure charging for up to 27 devices simultaneously.
