Neenah Taylor co-stars with Sally Kirkland in ‘My Mother, My Daughters, and Me’

March 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Actress/singer Neenah Taylor co-stars with seasoned actress Sally Kirkland (House Under Siege, “Criminal Minds”) in the Write Act Theater and CRE Entertainment reading presentation “My Mother, My Daughters, and Me.” The reading was held recently at the Write Act Repertory in Los Angeles, and also starred GJ Tiari, Ethne Dennis, Rico Simonini and Johnny Crear.

“My Mother, My Daughters, and Me,” was directed by T.J. Castronovo and written by Gloria Goldsmith. Kirkland is Lila Sunstone and Taylor is Sandy Mendelson. “Mother, My Daughters, and Me” is loosely based on the life of writer Goldsmith. It follows Stania Sunstone Mendelson, who is moving from New York to California, and her interactions with her daughters Sandy and Sally, and mother Lila.

As a singer Neenah Taylor has performed as opening act for Roshon Fegan of Disney’s “So Random” at the Girl Scouts’ B.I.G. Expo in Palms Springs and as opening act for such high-profile artists as Trey Songz and Angie Stone.

Neenah’s originals songs are making outstanding achievements already with two appearing on two upcoming movie releases. “Don’t Run Away” will be on the soundtrack of the Imagination film Gabe The Cupid Dog (hear the single at http://soundcloud.com/craig-raymo/dont-run-away-featured-...) and “Stupid” is on the soundtrack for the feature film My Dogs Christmas Miracle, which stars Brenda Song, Greg Evigan and Cynthia Gibb.
