Millburn Attorney to Speak at National Conference

ALAN GOLDBERGER, a partner in the Millburn law firm of Brown Moskowitz & Kallen, P.C. and the author of Sports Officiating: A Legal Guide, will be a featured speaker in two presentations at the upcoming American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts on March 14-17. Goldberger, an accredited game official for more than 30 years, will present “I’d STILL Have to be Unconscious: the Concussion Rules and Liability” at the Legal Quadrivium, presented by the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport Committee on Legal Issues.
At the Convention, Goldberger will also present “Officiating Safely: Managing the Referee’s Exposure to Liability.” A past-president of the North Jersey Board of Approved Basketball Officials, and the School & Community Society of America, Goldberger officiated football, basketball and baseball for more than 25 years.   He is a frequent speaker to officials, coaches and attorneys on sports law.
