Parr Lumber Sponsors the Portland Tour of Remodeled Homes March 10 and 11, 2012

March 8, 2012 - PRLog -- PORTLAND, Ore. – Leading Northwest building materials retailer Parr Lumber is sponsoring the 2012 Tour of Remodeled Homes March 10 and 11, 2012 from 10 a.m. -  5 p.m. Produced by the Professional Remodelers Organization and the Homes Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, the tour consists of a variety of projects in home sites scattered in and around Portland.

The Tour of Remodeled Homes showcases a wide variety of the region’s top remodel projects ranging from a glorious bathroom overhaul to a near-complete remodel of a home built in 1917. In 2011 in the Portland Metro area more than $181 million dollars were spent on residential remodels, a figure expected to increase by nearly 5 percent in 2012.
