The Bowery is set to lay on an exhilarating thrills and spills spectacle to ensure racing enthusiasts can have the best of Cheltenham Gold Cup racing at home in Cork! The event will be hosted on The Bowery’s rooftop garden, which will be decked out for all-weather racing, complete with gold themed décor, Plasma TVs and an artificial lawn underfoot!
The Gold Cup themed race day goes under starter’s orders from 1pm and it’s even money that Cork’s stylish racing fraternity and those who like an odd ‘flutter’ will be out in their numbers. Punters will be well looked after with complimentary canapés, racing-themed cocktails and a free flutter courtesy of The Bowery and Ladbrokes.
The first of seven races gets underway at 1.30pm with the final race of the day set for 5.15pm. All this will be topped off with a post-race party, where DJ Mike Darcy will be spinning some winners late into the evening.
The Bowery will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday late in to the night this St. Patrick’s weekend. If you haven’t been, it’s the ideal opportunity to see this fantastic multi-room late night venue in full swing.
