Footwork is a 30-page booklet in the self-help genre. "I've been interested in the field of self-development for years. With Footwork, I'm adding my voice to that conversation." Lohnes said. "I wanted to dispel the myths about wishing really hard and making things happen. You have to do the footwork to get what you want." She began the book in 2008 as a response to bestseller The Secret. “The exponential growth of the Kindle and rising popularity of singles, booklets and other short formats made this the ideal time to get it out there."

"Footwork is just the beginning." Lohnes said. She plans to add additional titles to Parlance Media's catalog in the coming months. "I have a few projects in the works. I'm always on the lookout for joint ventures and partnerships."
