“The Choice,” tells the Easter story from the perspective of a young Roman Centurian who is involved in the execution of Jesus, but also in love with a Jewish girl who is a follower of Jesus. A drama cast of 50 joins the church choir and orchestra in the presentation.
“After the performances of “The Singing Christmas Tree” people were asking about an Easter program that would bring the same high production values to the stage,” said Minister of Music John Frank Reeve. “We think this presentation of “The Choice” will provide the same level of quality in music and drama as we tell the story of Easter.”
Performances are Sunday, April 1, at 7 p.m.; Monday, April 2, at 7 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. Admission is free. For more information call 337-593-3757 or visit www.fbclaf.org.
