Lynn, MA Single-family Home Prices, Sales Stable January 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 20, 2012 - The median price and sales of single-family homes in Lynn, Massachusetts stabilized in January 2012, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

Single-family homes prices were flat, falling just 0.5 percent in January 2012 compared to the previous year, a difference of $1,000.  Single-family home sales in Lynn, MA also were flat, with only one additional sale (up 5.3 percent) in January 2012.

In January 2012, the median price of condominiums increased 34.8 percent, or $27,600 compared to January 2011.  Condo sales fell 66.6 percent in January 2012, a difference of 10 sales.

The median price of multi-family homes fell 9.2 percent, or $18,000 compared to January 2011.  Multi-family home sales increased 6.3 percent in January 2012, a difference of just one sale.
