King Names J. Michael Flynn As New Sales Manager; Ron Ruppert Transitions To Product Manager

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 7, 2012 - Cedar Grove, NJ – King Engine Bearings, a leader in automotive, aviation and high performance engine bearings, has named J. Michael Flynn as the company's new sales manager. He takes over for Ron Ruppert, who will now serve as product manager for the company.  

Flynn comes to King Engine Bearings from ACL Distribution, Inc. in Kentwood, Mich. where he was technical sales manager from 2004 to 2012. In his sales management career, he's worked for several companies who manufacture and distribute engine bearings, including: Hastings Manufacturing Company and ACL Automotive America. He earned a B.A. in management from the University of Illinois.

Ruppert has been King's sales manager since 2005. In his new role as product manager, he will be responsible for product management, inventory management and sales assistance. In the area of product development, he will work closely with the company's sales, marketing and engineering team to balance product and customer requirements. In inventory management, Ruppert will be responsible for nine warehouses that stock approximately 6,500 SKUs.
