Internationally Renowned Pop Artist to Lead Interactive Art Education Workshop With Elementary School Children

District to Host Unveiling and Exclusive Art Reception at Fazzino’s Private Artist Studios

On March 12th, internationally renowned 3D pop artist Charles Fazzino,  http://www.fazzino.com, will donate his time and effort to conduct an Art Master Class with more than 30 sixth-grade students from the Edgemont School District. During the two-hour interactive workshop, Fazzino and the students will collaborate on a large, three-dimensional mural of New York personalized with an Edgemont twist. The students will learn how Fazzino creates his 3D art works, which are currently exhibited in museums and galleries in more than twenty countries around the world, listed at http://www.fazzino.com/3d-art-gallery/.  Students will contribute their own artistic talents to the educational art project, and work with Fazzino to create a finished piece of fine art.
Charles Fazzino stresses the importance of art education. “I am thrilled to be launching my arts education initiative with the Edgemont School District,” said Fazzino from his New Rochelle studio. “I have been working with students for years all over the world on projects like this, but am happy to be able to work with local students and to help raise funds for arts education in my own backyard.”
The finished artwork will be unveiled on March 28th at an art reception hosted by Fazzino for the Edgemont Community at his private studios. Attendees will be given tours of the working art studio, have the chance to meet the artist, and purchase artworks, part of the proceeds of which will be donated to the Edgemont PTA.  In addition, the finished work will be donated to the PTA for auction at the organization’s annual Spring Fete on April 21st.
